Casio launches new mobile computers IT-G600 and IT-G650 – Weilandt Elektronik provides support for warranty repairs

Both equipped with the Android ™ 9 operating system, the IT-G600 is easy to use even when working with gloves thanks to its integrated keyboard, while the IT-G650 with its full-surface touch display offers a maximum overview and flexible input like on a smartphone. As the service partner of Casio Weilandt Elektronik takes over the maintenance of the devices also for warranty repairs. This means that the repair service provider accompanies the life cycle of a device from the beginning and remains the first point of contact in the event of defects even long after the guarantee has expired. In this way we are already successfully supporting Casio and its customers for many other models such as the IT-3000 and IT-9000, the IT-G400, the DT-X400 or the new ET-L10 and many more.

The robust and durable devices from Casio are used in a wide variety of industries. As a provider for repairs and maintenance Weilandt also presents other attractive services and offers direct customer support in this field as well. There are individual modules which can be combined with one another to create a service package that guarantees comfort, cost reduction and time savings for the customer.

Many comprehensive projects have been developed this way. One example is a cooperation with a major German food retailer where the customer's own equipment pool of several thousand mobile computers – including many Casio IT-G500 – is taking care of completley by Weilandt. This includes the storage, maintenance and management of the entire inventory. With this support, in addition to the reduction of the necessary pool of devices the compliance with the operational processes in the event of defects is guaranteed by the affiliated exchange service (SWAP). For this, ready-to-use and preconfigured replacement devices including the corresponding accessories are available at all times so that they can be delivered to the desired location, according to the customer's specifications. This ensures a smooth operational process at all times.
