EDEKA Rhein Ruhr to strengthen German middle class

As one of the largest employers on the Rhine and Ruhr, EDEKA Rhein Ruhr also relies on the region for its IT service and ensures that employees in the stores can rely on their IT equipment and get a replacement quickly and easily in the event of a failure.

"We were delighted that EDEKA Rhein Ruhr entrusted us with the responsibility for a total of 10,000 new CT45XP from Honeywell," says Udo Weilandt, founder and owner of the company.

At the end of the year, EDEKA Rhein Ruhr will start equipping its almost 1,000 stores with the new generation of devices. The customer-specific configuration (staging) and delivery (rollout) of the devices to each of the Edeka Rhein Ruhr stores, as well as the complete repair service, will be carried out by the Weilandt Elektronik service center in Essen.

"Weilandt Elektronik has been a reliable partner of the entire EDEKA Group for many years, they know how to do it," says Mr. Alexander Kurtzahn, Head of IT at EDEKA Rhein Ruhr.
