The new PM351 was designed as an alternative to large and unwieldy warehouse terminals and its low weight of 320g is intended to make work easier for users. Either the numeric or alphanumeric keypad can be selected for data input and the PM351 can also be optionally equipped with an easily removable pistol grip, which has a dedicated scan button. The PM351 also scores highly in terms of robustness with IP65 certification and drop protection from 1.5 m onto concrete. The operating temperature range of -20°C to 60°C covers a broad spectrum for most applications.
Special attention has been paid to barcode scanning: The SE965 engine is specifically designed to capture 1D codes, while the SE4100 can be selected for 1D and 2D codes. The PM351 has a protected 4" display and comes standard with Android 11 (updateable via FOTA) and 3GB RAM/32GB ROM (optional 4GB RAM/64GB ROM). The battery integrated on the back has a capacity of 4,800mAh and can even be replaced during operation.
